Read the official technology page ↗Looking for an electric scooter under $500 in Cambodia? Start by checking AIMA JoyBean, listed in our approved $3XX USD reference band. Contact our Phnom Penh showroom to confirm the exact vehicle configuration, current quotation and any additional costs before deciding whether the complete purchase fits your $500 budget.
This is an AIMA Cambodia buying guide about our own range, not an independent brand ranking. The website is operated by APSARA MEKONG (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.
The Cambodia product catalogue shows JoyBean with a 350W motor, 48V13Ah battery and a front basket. These give you concrete features to check when comparing a compact electric scooter for everyday trips. Confirm that the vehicle offered by the showroom matches the catalogue version.
Use the JoyBean detail page to view product images and published information. The $3XX label masks the final two digits; it is an indicative price band, not an exact quote, a live-stock promise or a guarantee that delivery and other costs are included.
Tell the showroom your daily distance, road conditions, passenger requirements and charging arrangements. Ask about range test conditions and the specific version you are viewing. We do not publish an unverified range or waterproofing promise for this vehicle.
AIMA EX3 is shown in the $6XX USD reference band, so it is not an under-$500 option. Its Cambodia catalogue lists a 600W motor and triple-lens LED lighting. Consider it only if you can increase your budget, then compare the actual configuration and quotation. See our full AIMA price-band guide for other models.
Our published showroom address is No. 11, Street 163, Prampir Makara, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Open Google Maps directions and contact AIMA Cambodia to confirm opening hours and whether JoyBean is available to view before travelling.
No. A down payment is only part of the purchase cost. AIMA Cambodia offers installment enquiries through channels including ACLEDA Bank and DP. Ask about the applicable model and any 30% down-payment plan; eligibility, actual deposit, interest, fees, term and approval depend on the provider and final contract. Compare total repayments, not the deposit alone, against your budget.
Ask the team for a JoyBean quotation and a breakdown of what is included. Read our warranty checklist and charging guide. Learn about the operating company and published showroom coverage on About AIMA Cambodia. Product details on this page come from the AIMA Cambodia catalogue linked on the model page.
AIMA’s global website describes the company as a leading global electric two-wheeler brand and reports more than 100 million electric two-wheelers sold worldwide cumulatively during 2006–2025. This is a global cumulative figure, not Cambodia sales or a single year’s sales.

Our current Cambodia sales range uses graphene batteries. Confirm the battery voltage, capacity, charging requirements and written warranty for the exact version you choose. Battery life depends on use and care; no fixed lifespan is promised.
JoyBean offers a removable battery for more flexible charging arrangements. Ask the showroom to demonstrate removal and refitting, and confirm the appropriate charger and a suitable charging location before purchase.
Ask about the protection requirements of your specific battery, motor and controller, and inspect the vehicle’s ground clearance. A component’s water-resistance rating does not establish the protection of the whole vehicle or permission to ride through floodwater. Follow the vehicle manual.
AIMA Cambodia supplies parts including motors. Contact the local team to confirm model compatibility, current availability, fitting arrangements, cost and lead time. Parts support does not mean every component is always in stock or replaced free of charge.
