Electric Motorcycles in Cambodia: 2026 Buyer’s Guide

Quick answer: The best electric motorcycle for a Cambodian rider depends on daily distance, budget, charging access, passenger needs and the quality of local after-sales support. A low purchase price is useful, but it should be considered together with battery replacement cost, warranty and dealer service.

What should you compare before buying?

Which type of rider is each model for?

For shorter urban commuting and a lower budget, a lighter 48V model may be enough. Riders who regularly carry passengers, want more performance or prefer a larger vehicle may prefer a 72V platform. The right choice is the model that fits your route and ownership needs rather than the largest specification on paper.

Global brand experience. Local presence in Cambodia.

AIMA’s global website describes the company as a leading global electric two-wheeler brand and reports more than 100 million electric two-wheelers sold worldwide cumulatively during 2006–2025. This is a global cumulative figure, not Cambodia sales or a single year’s sales.

AIMA Technology

Four technologies from AIMA’s global range, explained for buyers in Cambodia. Equipment varies by model; confirm your chosen vehicle with our local team.

Golden Labeled Battery

AIMA’s Golden Labeled technology uses graphene-active batteries and specialised electrode manufacturing. Our current Cambodia range uses graphene batteries; Golden Labeled fitment must be confirmed separately.

Local after-sales support for your AIMA

AIMA Cambodia supports you beyond the purchase with local inspection, maintenance and warranty assistance, plus parts support including motors. Our Phnom Penh team is your contact for service arrangements and model-specific advice. After-sales service and support →

Graphene battery configurations

Our current Cambodia sales range uses graphene batteries. Confirm the battery voltage, capacity, charging requirements and written warranty for the exact version you choose. Battery life depends on use and care; no fixed lifespan is promised.

JoyBean: removable battery

JoyBean offers a removable battery for more flexible charging arrangements. Ask the showroom to demonstrate removal and refitting, and confirm the appropriate charger and a suitable charging location before purchase.

Rainy-season checks

Ask about the protection requirements of your specific battery, motor and controller, and inspect the vehicle’s ground clearance. A component’s water-resistance rating does not establish the protection of the whole vehicle or permission to ride through floodwater. Follow the vehicle manual.

Local parts enquiries

AIMA Cambodia supplies parts including motors. Contact the local team to confirm model compatibility, current availability, fitting arrangements, cost and lead time. Parts support does not mean every component is always in stock or replaced free of charge.
