AIMA Graphene Battery Explained: Range, Cycle Life and Real-World Limits

Quick answer: AIMA’s Golden Labeled battery technology uses graphene-enhanced lead-acid battery design and is marketed around longer range and service life.

What does AIMA publish about cycle life?

AIMA states that the battery can exceed 500 charge cycles with less than 20% capacity degradation under its testing conditions.

What about the 100+ km range claim?

AIMA’s official technology page reports a laboratory-tested range above 100 km for a specific 72V38Ah graphene-battery configuration with a 75 kg rider, 25°C ambient temperature, 25 km/h speed and flat-road conditions.

This does not mean every AIMA scooter can travel 100 km. Actual range changes with battery size, model, rider weight, speed, temperature, wind, road conditions and riding habits.

What should Cambodia buyers check?

Current Cambodia specifications are listed on the AIMA Cambodia model pages.

Global brand experience. Local presence in Cambodia.

AIMA’s global website describes the company as a leading global electric two-wheeler brand and reports more than 100 million electric two-wheelers sold worldwide cumulatively during 2006–2025. This is a global cumulative figure, not Cambodia sales or a single year’s sales.

Local after-sales support for your AIMA

AIMA Cambodia supports you beyond the purchase with local inspection, maintenance and warranty assistance, plus parts support including motors. Our Phnom Penh team is your contact for service arrangements and model-specific advice. After-sales service and support →

Graphene battery configurations

Our current Cambodia sales range uses graphene batteries. Confirm the battery voltage, capacity, charging requirements and written warranty for the exact version you choose. Battery life depends on use and care; no fixed lifespan is promised.

JoyBean: removable battery

JoyBean offers a removable battery for more flexible charging arrangements. Ask the showroom to demonstrate removal and refitting, and confirm the appropriate charger and a suitable charging location before purchase.

Rainy-season checks

Ask about the protection requirements of your specific battery, motor and controller, and inspect the vehicle’s ground clearance. A component’s water-resistance rating does not establish the protection of the whole vehicle or permission to ride through floodwater. Follow the vehicle manual.

Local parts enquiries

AIMA Cambodia supplies parts including motors. Contact the local team to confirm model compatibility, current availability, fitting arrangements, cost and lead time. Parts support does not mean every component is always in stock or replaced free of charge.
