Safe charging starts with using the correct charger and a suitable electrical connection. Always follow the instructions supplied with your specific vehicle and battery.
Use the correct charger
Do not substitute an unrelated charger simply because the plug appears to fit. Voltage, current and charging control can differ between battery systems.
Choose a suitable charging location
Charge in a dry, ventilated area away from standing water, heavy rain exposure and unnecessary heat sources. Keep the charging area clear and avoid covering the charger while it is operating.
Check cables and plugs
Before charging, look for damaged insulation, loose connectors, unusual discoloration or signs of overheating. If something appears abnormal, stop using the equipment and contact an authorized service point.
Avoid improvised electrical setups
Loose adapters, overloaded extensions and poor-quality electrical connections can create avoidable risk. Use a stable outlet appropriate for the supplied charger.
Follow your model’s instructions
Battery and charger requirements can differ by model. For model-specific guidance, contact an AIMA Cambodia dealer or service point.
